While Al Gore's main concern seemed to be the environment, and a
fair shot at the presidency, Tipper had a long history of trying
to censor pop and rock lyrics, and was the founder of the PMRC.
One of their more memorable public appearances involved an endlessly
long make out session on Saturday Night Live.
